The school is located in the Miracle Mile district of the City of Los Angeles. The school sits next to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the largest art museum in the western United States, and site of the world famous La Brea Tar Pits. The Miracle Mile is an area consisting of a roughly one-mile stretch of Wilshire Boulevard between Fairfax and La Brea Avenues, and the surrounding neighborhoods are Beverly Hills, Westwood, Culver City and Hollywood. The center is a short distance from the beaches of Santa Monica and Venice, and about 5 miles from UCLA which is one of the top universities in the United States.
