• Small Classes
  Generally, we have 8-15 students per class, as opposed to 20+ students per class, which is often the case of ESL programs at community colleges or universities.
• Many Levels
  We offer courses that are more diverse. We have 7 levels (6 ESL levels and TOEFL) and a variety of ESL courses to choose from. We are committed to opening a class with even as low as three (3) student registrations.
• Conditional Agreement
  We have articulation agreements with many colleges. Upon completion of the POLY ESL program, students are accepted to colleges and career schools in place of the TOEFL or other standardized English proficiency tests.

  MyPOLY is a web-based information system personalized for the convenience of students. It has comprehensive information, transcript (attendance and grade), airport pick-up service, accommodation arrangements and so on. The parents/guardians of a student are able to access MyPOLY to review the student¡¯s performance.

POLY¡¯s Assurance Program

We are guaranteeing your English Proficiency. After you successfully (C or better) complete POLY¡¯s ESL program (R/W 601 & 602 and L/S 601 & 602) with 80% attendance or higher, you will be accepted to many colleges and career schools. If for any reason, you are not accepted to a community college of your choice because of your language skills, or simply feel that your English proficiency is not sufficient for college level studies, you may repeat the courses (R/W 601 & 602 and L/S 601 & 602) free of charge. However, you are required to register for the free courses for the consecutive terms within 30 days after you complete the courses meeting the requirements stated herein. While in the program, students must maintain the minimum grade level (C or better) and attendance (80% or better) in order to take advantage of the free courses.
