Fees
Application Fee
In order for your application to be processed, you must include a
non-refundable $75 application fee with your completed application form. This
application fee is waived for the student whose last date of attendance is
within 180 days from the last date of attendance at the school or the scheduled
start date if the student had never attended the school.
Processing Fee/Rebooking Fee
For the student wishing to attend the school as an international F-1 student,
there is a non-refundable processing fee of $35. An additional fee of $35 will
be charged to re-schedule a session start date. An additional fee of $35 will
also be charged to re-schedule an airport pick-up or a move-in date unless the
student notifies the school 10 days prior to the scheduled date.
Express Mailing Fee
The non-refundable express mailing fees are as follow: Outside the US: $65;
Within the US: $30. We only use courier companies that have a tracking system
to ensure delivery of packages.
SEVIS I-901 Fee
The SEVIS I-901 fee of $100 must be paid directly to the SEVP administrator for
those, with an initial Form I-20, applying for student F-1 visa. If you wish to
pay by credit card, you must give the school your credit card information so
that the payment may be processed. The school will make the payment on your
behalf and will send the receipt of the payment with your acceptance package.

Documentation Fee
We provide the following documents to students; Student ID, Enrollment
Verification form, official transcript, I-20 form with signature on the third
page, recommendation letter to colleges or universities with conditional
acceptance agreements, and certificates. To request such documents, a student
must complete and submit the Student Service Request form with proper fees if
applicable. Such requested documents will take 5-12 days to be prepared and may
be picked up from the administration office. Any documents not picked up within
30 days will be discarded.
Examination Fee
POLY Languages Institute is approved as an official Certified Test
Administration Site (CTAS), to deliver ETS internet-based tests. As authorized
test sites, all POLY Languages Institute Centers administer the iBT TOEFL and
iBT TOEIC tests, POLY Languages Institute offers those exams on site. For

Health Insurance
All F-1 students and their dependents are required to purchase medical
insurance prior to the start of their studies at our school. The student may
choose his/her own insurance plan, or use the insurance company, Harbour Group,
LLC, that we recommend. The Harbour Group International Students and Scholar
Medical Insurance Plan is specifically for F-1 students studying in the USA.
Monthly insurance rates depend on the student’s age and start from $59.00.

Please note that a valid Form I-20 is required to be submitted with an
application.
Textbook
Students must purchase the required textbooks for the courses. The textbooks
purchased are often used for more than one class. The average cost of
textbook(s) per session (one month) is $50 for the Semi-Intensive Program and
$60 for the Intensive Program.
Airport Transfer Fee
POLY provides airport pick-up service from the Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX) to the POLY Center you will be attending or to the location you
will be staying as long as the location is within 10 miles of the POLY Center.
The airport transfer service fee of $80 and is fully refundable as long as you
cancel at least 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Accommodation Arrangement Fee
We charge $150 to find and process your accommodation. This fee is waived one
time when changing, within 60 days, from student residence to homestay or vice
versa. The accommodation arrangement fee, a security deposit and pre-paid rent
are fully refundable if you cancel in writing 10 days prior to your move in

POLY Center. For both student residence and homestay, there is a security
deposit of $100. All fees and rates are subject to change without a notice.

Refund Policy
All refund requests must be submitted in writing by the person who made the
payment to POLY. The method of submission can be by mail, in person, or by
electronic mail at www.POLYLanguages.edu/contacts/emailcontact.spx. Refunds are
made by check within 20-calendar days from the date of receipt of such request.
The student may pick up the check in person or request the delivery of the
check by mail, in which case applicable express mailing fee would apply. The
school has the right to any unclaimed balance beyond 180 days from the last
date of student’s attendance or the scheduled start date if the student had
never attended the school. Tuition refunds will be based on the money received
by the school. When calculating refunds, any discounts given due to promotions
or for any other reasons will be voided; the student will be charged based on
standard published (full) price for any sessions attended. For agency students,
any discount given to the student’s agency or counselor will also be deducted.
For the courses cancelled, annulling the enrollment agreement prior to the
student’s scheduled start date, all tuition received by the school will be
refunded. If a student withdraws after the period allowed for cancellation,
tuition is based on a weekly proration. Any part of the week that the student
has attended will count as a full week of attendance.
